E Out of Ego Daily Insight – Trust Yourself

On December 1, 1955, in Montgomery, Rosa Parks is arrested for refusing to give up her her seat in the front section  of a bus.  If she was following the social standards of the times, that would have been pretty egotistical for an African American woman to do such an action.  But in that case, perhaps she was simply trusting herself that she felt good about it and did what she felt.  Sometimes it does take a lot of guts to trust ourself and it can even look like being egotistical if we stand out from others.  Trusting yourself means a healthy, balanced ego, which is not egotistical.
