What gives you joy this holiday season? With the joy of expanding into our potential, the ego just can’t stop us! It’s just plain easy to be ego free when thinking of a friend and what they would love for a present! By the way, our book is that kind of insightful, fun, inexpensive, un-expected – present!
On December 1, 1955, in Montgomery, Rosa Parks is arrested for refusing to give up her her seat in the front section of a bus. If she was following the social standards of the times, that would have been pretty egotistical for an African American woman to do such an action. But in that case, perhaps she was simply trusting herself that she felt good about it and did what she felt. Sometimes it does take a lot of guts to trust ourself and it can even look like being egotistical if we stand out from others. Trusting yourself means a healthy, balanced ego, which is not egotistical.
We spend a fair amount of time reminding our egos to look at what we have accomplished. We remind ourselves at Thanksgiving to appreciate our riches, friends and lifestyle. Go ahead and savor our blessings, as we share them with others. We are grate-ful and great-full.
When you allow others to make the decision that’s right for them without coercion or guilt, you not only honor them but also set the stage for a later win-win payoff.

It struck me today how not taking the “bull by the horns” can leave room for less than positive events to emerge. So many times we know what action we need to take for healing, but we let it slide. Maybe we are hesitant to cause pressure in a relationship. The news is, that by not stopping and “drawing a line in the sand” – saying that we can and will find a better solution TODAY, we end up letting the error thinking grow.
Our chiropractor commented on how many more cancer patients are coming in. So often dis-ease is a result of this very matter. Making a daily change in any area that gives persistent irritation has really helped us keep our relationship on a positive and healed basis.
How do you keep your relationships in balance and positive?

Appreciating ourselves and people around us! Appreciate fully and it comes right back – fully! Be thankful before things happen, and they happen just as we believed.
The ‘E’ in Ego loves to fall into the past or jump into the future, and often operates from emotions. Staying in the present, on focus, keeps the ‘GO’ in charge. The ‘GO’ is the point of power!

Every day is a new experience. Old roadblocks and fears only stay because they get reenergized. Why not reenergize a new story. Create new experiences by leaving that “E” behind and GO with a new story.
